Waste not, want not! This informative and practical day will show you some resourceful ways to use up the gluts from the prolific croppers of the early Autumn harvest. Working with my good friend ‘Liz the Pickle’  we  will share with you some of our very favourite recipes  (plus many useful tips to boot)  of how to safely turn the produce of a good harvest  into some great store cupboard goodies.

Working in pairs you will make Courgette and Ginger Jam, Runner Bean Chutney and a classic crispy Cucumber Pickle.

You will take home all the produce home you have made during the day.

The day is fully catered with coffee on arrival and a lunch at the much celebrated Riverford Field Kitchen. It will be a fulfilling day!
